Today, the two tallest buildings in the city and in the state are Chase Tower and US Bank Center. Out of the 20 tallest skyscrapers in Arizona, 18 are in the city. Other tall buildings include the Smith Tower, Phoenix Corporate Center, Phoenix City Hall, Viad Tower, Qwest Tower and many others.

Phoenicians enjoy a different kind of shopping experience with the city’s department stores. Only in the Valley of the Sun where you can find haute couture that also offers cowboy chick apparel. There are also high signature brands that can be purchased in the Biltmore Fashion Park. Ralph Lauren, Gucci, Cartier and Escada are just some of the high end boutiques that have stores in town. If you are into psychedelic shopping, you can ransack shops such as Urban Angels, Kontrive and Hippie Gypsy. These stores are owned by local proprietors.
Museums are also tourist spots in the city. In Scottsdale alone, there are as much as 120 art galleries and studios. There is one building in this neighborhood that houses five galleries. It is designed by Will Bruder. The edifice has adopted a minimalist architectural style. The Phoenix Art Museum, for instance has over 17,000 of artworks that vary from Latin, American, Modern, Western American and Contemporary art. Arts have been an important part of the Phoenician culture. In fact, there are lots of festivals that showcase the talents of the people who are into performing arts and display of petroglyphics made centuries ago. With all what Phoenix has to offer to its denizens and tourists alike, it will remain one of the most wonderful cities in the United States.
