The Big Apple
New York is one of the most inhabited cities in United States. It houses more than 8,000,000 people of diverse nationalities. Seagram Building, which is famous for its bronze-toned façade, adopts an international style whereas the design of the Conde Nast Building, which was completed in 2000, went green. New York is also known for the prominence of cabs. In Manhattan, only few people care for spaces in parking lots as most people take hybrid taxis.

In addition, most of the new Yorkers do not trouble themselves with spaces in parking lots as most of the people do not rely in their cars. Instead, they use one of the major transportation systems of the city. There are lots of cabs around the metropolis that you would not have to bother with your car keys. With its over 500 museums and art galleries, you do not need a directory just to find one. One of the noted parks in here is the Central Park.
The different gleaming skyscrapers that adorn the city skyline seem to promise a bright future to everyone. This is the primary reason why the metropolis has been very crowded. Its five boroughs, which are Staten Island, Queen, Manhattan, Brooklyn and The Bronx, have given shelter to people of different races other than American like Hispanics, Asians, Europeans and others. New York appears to be the land of different opportunities which are offered to everyone who wanted to make their dreams come true. The Statue of Liberty welcomes such individuals. Even though they know that the competition is definitely hard, they still have the courage to go and have that most awaited break. And why not they will do this? Since racism is one of the words that seem to be unlisted in the city’s vocabulary, it is a fair game. The fame and power that one can obtain from New York will always be its charm.
